New Aibon Translations

It’s clearing up!
2008/5/28 21:10

The weather here has been great since this morning ☆ I have to be careful I don’t get a sunburn.

There’s a little balcony in my room, and I was sitting there, listening to music and drinking cocoa. “Huh? I’m a bit like a celebrity now…!?” (lol)

That’s how it felt.

Now, I’m going to go to the hotel’s gym!

I can’t let my body wear out! But I’m still young! (lol)

Yesterday, I was hanging out all day (again?) with Cherrie. We were speaking English and Japanese, and Cantonese, and Mandarin… I can’t tell the difference any more! (lol) Also, Sammo Hung and Vanness have been speaking a bit of Japanese.

Our waiting room is so much fun!

Even my interpreter, Cindy, is getting mixed up. She started speaking to me in Cantonese, so the staff had to translate it into Japanese for me. The she said, “Oh! I’m sorry…” to me in English. (lol)

Now I’m going!

On the studio bus

I’m headed to the set right now. This bus is full of actors. Wow! Do I really belong here? All right, I’m going to have some fun working today. Good night everybody!

Something important
2008/5/29 20:22

Hello.

After having been in China for 10 days, I thought of something. On more than 30 channels here, they spend at least half of every day giving information about the Szechwan earthquake. For the three days from the 19th to the 21st, they broadcast nothing but earthquake information, and all other shows were cancelled. There are 60,000 dead so far, and it looks like that number will grow. This is something that really happened so close to Japan, right here in China.

Where we’re staying now, we get thunder and rain every night.

Yesterday, there was broken glass in my room.

I need to watch out for more…

Be careful when reading (lol)
2008/5/30 18:18

What? What? She took a picture of me while I was sleeping… That was a shock when I looked at my blog! [Note: She's referring to a Fan Club-only blog post] Oh, about yesterday’s blog where I mentioned the broken glass, the thunder and storm knocked down a pole that was hanging up and the pole broke through the window. “Smash!” I didn’t know what to do! I wasn’t hurt, so that’s okay. But it took me a while to figure out what happened.

The power of nature is terrible… That’s what I realised. Anyway, yesterday I was hanging out (again!?) with Cherrie (lol) Cherrie and I exchanged contact information ☆ In July, she’s going to be in Tokyo, so we promised to meet up! I can’t wait! It would be great if we could work together in Japan. What do you say, manager? I want everyone to meet her! (lol)

She says she’ll think about it ★ Oh, my manager’s stomach is full of pu-erh tea! Wow. When I eat… my stomach sticks out. Huh? I think I’m going to look pale again after this. That should be fun.

Did you see the movies yesterday [Note: Fan Club-only]? They were taken in the waiting room. Our waiting room is full of Chinese ornaments and fabrics like you wouldn’t see in Japan. But, as always, people were talking in every language at once. (lol)

Actually, when I get back to Japan, I’ll have a cute little Mini Pomeranian ★ Yes, I’m going to be taking care of him! I’m trying to think of a good name.

So, I’m open to suggestions for a name! Everybody, please try to think of one (^ – ^)

It’s a little black Pomeranian. It’s a boy!

PS: Sorry for changing the subject so much… I have a habit of talking about different things, so be careful.

We’re sisters! Today we’re filming until the morning, and tomorrow there’s a midday press conference for the movie ★

I’m not going to get any sleep…

A Press Conference!
2008/5/31 18:10

The press conference is over! There were so many people there, I was really nervous. The photo here is one that my manager took. The room we were waiting in was full of sweets, and were were all having fun and eating them while we waited. Over the course of 10 minutes, they came in to tell us to “stand by” six times, and we were all, “We’re already standing by!” (lol)

When the sweets on the table ran out, Sammo Hung called out for “One more round of the same, please” and we all called out, “Yay!” (lol)

Then when we were finally called, we all ran out of the room. Now today, we’ll be filming until the morning again ★

Thanks for the doggy names ★

Which should I choose…

There’s so much dim sum! It’s all so good ★

good morning!!
2008/6/1 10:10

Wow, yesterday was a really long day. But it was a great day that left me with lots of memories. I’m really grateful! There’s still some more filming to be done, but we’re all working together to do our best! So, keep looking forward to seeing the result.

As always, our waiting room is busy, with lots of food on the the big revolving table, going around and around… We’re all trying hard to make sure our favourite chocolates stop in front of us (lol) I managed to get mine right in front of me ☆

Every day I think that it would be great if things could always be like this. To try and make every day this fun, I’m going to keep going day to day with a smile on my face.

Wow! I’m so happy that I can do something I love as a job! And having everyone look out for me gives me encouragement and keeps me going on. I’m going to be careful and treat things well from here on.

My manager laughs every day ☆ She’ll smile and say, “Ai, good work today!”

Thank you very much.

Hm… When I get back to Japan, I want to share these feelings with you all in person.

All right, today we’re all going to the gym and the pool to get worn out! Tonight, we’re going out for dinner! That’s right, we have time off! ☆☆

I’ll let my manager take care of the camera. Okay, see you later!

Thanks for peeking at my blog today.

happy day
2008/6/2 00:00

We all went out to dinner, and I had sake for the first time in my life ★ Cherrie, Vanness, and the director can all really hold their alcohol!

I can’t wait til I see them again tomorrow! My stomach is so full it hurts!

Surrounded by food
2008/6/2 19:34

Yesterday was a fun and yummy day.

Afterwards, I went back to the hotel and got a phone call from Cherrie, so we hung out together! We listened to some music, danced, and looked at my blog ★

Later, we got yet yet yet another big lot of refreshments from Sammo Hung! Today is Cherrie’s last day of filming… But we promised that when I’m done filming, we’ll meet up in Hong Kong, so I’m not sad! (I guess…)

Oh, right. That sake tasted really good. But it did make my throat feel like it was on fire (lol) After drinking, I had some ice cream to go with it, and everyone was laughing and saying, “Ai! It’s weird to have ice cream with drinks!” (>_<) My manager was talked into eating a giant water bug. When we asked her what it was like, she said, “Iz… go…”! (It’s good)

I’m trying my best to take good pictures of these fun times!

Is there anything you’d like to ask me?
